Assistant Manager (Market Research & Development)
Main Functions :
We are looking Assistant Manager ( Market Research & Development ) to support our sales and marketing functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business leads, coordinating with clients, supporting digital and offline marketing efforts, and managing vendor registrations, events, and website content. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for marketing and business development.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Client Coordination
- Identify potential business leads through online research, expos, industry events, and site visits.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients via calls and emails; schedule meetings and site visits.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals to nurture leads and convert opportunities.
- Assist the marketing and sales teams with coordination and support tasks.
2. Digital Marketing & Content Support
- Plan and coordinate video shoots, photography, and client site visits for content creation.
- Collaborate on content for brochures, posters, exhibition displays, and social media.
- Monitor digital marketing campaign performance and assist in managing invoices and vendor payments.
3. Website & SEO Management
- Coordinate with internal/external teams to keep website content updated (blogs, testimonials, project info).
- Ensure website SEO best practices are followed; suggest improvements based on performance analysis.
- Track website traffic using tools like Google Analytics and generate performance reports.
4. Events, Expos & Seminars
- Research and recommend relevant industry events and expos for participation.
- Manage logistics for expos including stall setup, promotional material, and coordination.
- Create and distribute event-related promotional content (Whatsapp messages, emails, posters).
- Collect and share potential leads with the marketing/sales team post-events.
5. Tenders & Vendor Registration
- Monitor government and private portals daily for relevant tenders and bids.
- Share opportunities with the internal team and assist in proposal preparation/submission.
- Manage vendor registration processes across multiple platforms and ensure timely follow-ups.
6. Marketing Tools & Branding
- Create and maintain marketing collateral such as presentations, flyers, social media content, and Whatsapp creative.
- Ensure all branding materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.
7. Marketing Material Inventory Management
- Maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials including brochures, folders, expo kits, and printed assets.
- Ensure timely replenishment and availability of promotional materials for meetings, site visits, and events.
· 2–5 years of experience in MBA Marketing , Business Development , Sales, Knowledge in Market Research or Product Development
· Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with CRM systems, SEO tools, and digital marketing platforms is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic design tools (Canva, PowerPoint).
· Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
