Our team offers great diversity in nationalities, gender and cultural backgrounds and we highly value team collaboration and personal development to ensure our team together lift the job in providing best in class procurement services to the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility as Assistant Category Manager is to execute procurement projects and category activities which you will do in collaboration with Technology stakeholders and thus ensure effective implementation of the category strategy that aligns with Technology overall direction and objective.Your role will also be to manage procurement of software focusing on commercial and contractual negotiations, risk management and conduct contract and supplier relationship management.Other key tasks:- Conduct spend analysis to identify cost drivers and opportunities to make the Software category more cost effective for Maersk- Conduct in-depth market and supplier research and analysis, including identification and engagement of new suppliers in support of technology requirements- Partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to understand needs/requirements, build trusting partnerships that allow for evaluation, influencing and challenging the status quo and driving compliance and adoption of the procurement policies- Contract and supplier relationship management including conducting business reviews- Collaborate with suppliers on innovation, cost and process improvements to find a way to make Maersk business more commercially attractiveWho we are looking forOur employees represent a wide range of educational backgrounds, work experience and nationalities - most important to us is your personal skills.
