About the company:

It is an end to end B2B fulfillment platform for manufacturing of specialty chemicals. It takes a science first approach right from R&D to scaling up contract manufacturing in a commercial plant. The entire process is made transparent and easy to navigate through a tech enabled system to digitally discover the supply ensuring supply chain visibility throughout the development cycle.

They has raised $13M from top tier VCs in India, Japan and Germany. We are scaling rapidly and currently have 100cr business in the domestic market with double digit profitability.

The business model is built on 3 pillars:

● Discovery of suppliers

● Demand generation globally

● Value engineering (R&D) across chemistries

Globally, the tailwinds are hugely in favor of India (+$50B in the next 5 years) given that the manufacturing is shifting from China to India and the kind of high scientific talent density in India at low cost is unparalleled anywhere in the world. In addition to this, the government incentives around manufacturing and exports is very lucrative for lots of new supply to be set up.

BD Manager- Chemical Exports

About the role:

1. Responsible for achieving the division's sales targets in international markets2. Keeping track of industry trends about market development, identifying new products,3. competitive activity, customers etc.4. Develop & maintain relations with customers including key accounts and strengthen5. existing relationships.6. Must consistently track the development of sales strategies and act resourcefully, to7. achieve organizational goals and objectives.8. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling9. propositions and differentiators for products.

About the candidate:

1. This is a role where prior experience in sales of chemical sales (like pharma, agrochemicals, cosmetics, industrial chemicals) is a must2. At-least 5 years exp in chemical exports3. Hunger to build a large global business is needed4. Having built and led teams is preferred
