Web Developer – Ahmedabad, India

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. This role involves building, customizing, and maintaining high-performing websites for clients across various industries. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in front-end and back-end development, CMS platforms, and website optimization while being comfortable collaborating with designers, marketers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain websites on WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
  • Write clean, efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related frameworks
  • Customize and optimize website themes, plugins, and templates
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools as needed
  • Conduct performance optimization, SEO setup, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and AI-powered tools

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in web development or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and CMS customization
  • Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Solid understanding of PHP and back-end development
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge of SEO, site performance optimization, and web security
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Trello, Slack, or Asana
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
