Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Alternative Data Experimentation person to join our dynamic data enrichment team. This role is focused on leveraging alternative data sources to enhance our credit risk assessment, collections strategies, and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, a deep understanding of financial services, and a passion for exploring and integrating non-traditional data sources to drive business value.


Key Responsibilities:

1) Identify and Source Alternative Data:

Research and identify non-traditional data sources that could improve credit scoring, collections processes, and marketing strategies.

2) Data Experimentation and Integration:

  • Design and conduct experiments to test the efficacy of alternative data in predicting creditworthiness, optimizing collections, and enhancing marketing targeting.
  • Develop and refine methodologies for integrating alternative data with existing data infrastructures to improve analytical models.

3) Advanced Analytics and Insights:

  • Perform advanced statistical analysis and machine learning modeling to extract actionable insights from alternative data.
  • Use predictive analytics to support credit risk assessment, collections optimization, and personalized marketing campaigns.

4) Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with credit risk analysts, collections managers, and marketing teams to understand their data needs and challenges.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5) Compliance and Ethical Considerations:

  • Ensure that all data experimentation and usage comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to address any data privacy and security concerns.

6) Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in alternative data and financial services.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the bank’s data-driven decision-making processes.
