Within our Client HQ located in Chennai - We are currently looking for a Creative Designer to work on a range of Automotive Vehicle projects for our Original Equipment Manufacturers within the Automotive Sector who’s predominant skill set will be Artistic creation of designs within the Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator.With a previous pedigree within Automotive Vehicle Design – applicants will be required to translate Sketches into reality within the 3D environment through Computer Aided Styling. A good background in Alias and Poly Modelling required, with a portfolio of previous design work to compliment any applicants Resume. Role Responsibilities:Create Unique Ideas and Concept for Automobiles and its products with Market research,competitor, technology and trend.Able to translate ideas in the form of good sketches and 2D Renderings with the ability to Interaction, collaborate and convey the design ideas with digital modelers and clay modelersDeliver Creative output according to the feasibility requirement and project timelineExpress a high level of creativity through free-hand drawings as well as digital sketches and renderingsPossess a good understanding of brand value and customer centric mindsetsHave a good production design knowledge and the ability to collaborate with the other areas within the design team, sculpting organization, engineering and fabrication teams in the development of new designsPossess Outstanding Visual Communication Skills, both hand sketching and realistic Photoshop rendering Create compelling and appropriate design proposals that show the future Design in both 2D and 3D formatPresent and communicate design proposals with clear visual presentationsExperience and Software Requirements: Proficient in Photoshop, illustrator and in Polygon modeling softwareDeliver and communicate design proposals with clear visual presentationsA strong working knowledge of Creating Unique Ideas and Concept for vehiclesExhibit enthusiasm, creativity, innovation, and the passion to learnLogical thinking and Creative abilityA degree level education within Product design / Industrial Design / Transportation design or a similar relevant subject areaA minimum of 3 Years on job experience. This role is not suited to a fresher/graduateA Portfolio / Online Folio to showcase your work will be required at the point of contact from our design team -please ensure you have a portfolio ready to submit at the first point of contact This vacancy is a full time permanent position operating from our Automotive Design offices in Chennai, India. Applicants must be able to be situated on site in Chennai – rather than working remote or possess a willingness to relocate within a commutable distance from Chennai to be considered for the job role.
