Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable architecture designs.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines for application development and deployment.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Architect resilient, fault-tolerant, and highly available cloud solutions across multiple regions and availability zones.
  • Design and implement security controls and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize cloud resources to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop migration strategies and lead the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach junior architects and technical teams on Azure architecture principles and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture roles with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Proficiency in architecting solutions using Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, etc.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, and load balancing.
  • Experience with Azure governance, resource management, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Desirable Skills:

  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
