Job Title: Head - Student Recruitment (US Programs)

Reports To: Director – Sales & Marketing
Job Purpose:
As the Head of Student Recruitment (US Programs) , you will play a critical leadership role in driving student acquisition for graduate and postgraduate programs for the US campus. You will lead strategic initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment, managing a dedicated recruitment team, and collaborating with marketing to create and execute campaigns that attract prospective students.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
Analyze student intake trends and devise strategies to meet or exceed targeted enrollment numbers.
Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan with the marketing team, including digital marketing and ATL/BTL activities.
Campaign & Budget Management:
Manage the budget for recruitment activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Work closely with internal teams to execute recruitment plans and monitor progress.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, train, and motivate the recruitment team to achieve recruitment goals.
Mentor team members and provide guidance on student counseling to enhance engagement.
Process Management:
Ensure the effective management of recruitment processes, building metrics to track performance.
Collaborate with the student selection panel to assess and evaluate applicants’ suitability for the programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with agents and influencers to promote and upsell US programs.
Regularly interact with internal teams such as Marketing, Program, Finance, and Admissions to align recruitment efforts.
Extensive Travel & Student Counseling:
This role requires extensive travel to promote programs and engage directly with potential students.
Provide counseling to prospective students to help them understand the value and relevance of the programs offered.
Skills & Competencies:
Qualification: MBA or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in the counseling or education industry, with a strong background in student recruitment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines and targets.
Self-starter with a go-getter attitude.
Proficiency in handling budget and metrics-driven performance management.

Internal:
Marketing Team: Campaign requirements and progress updates.
Program Team: Understanding program schedules and aligning recruitment efforts.
Finance Team: Coordination regarding payments and receipts.
Admissions Team: Final enrollment numbers and related activities.
External:
Agents & Influencers: Communication and relationship management to upsell US programs.
