Job Purpose:
To carry out inspection and quality assurance activities for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and safety regulations during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stage-wise and final inspections for electrical and instrumentation equipment and installations as per QAP/ITP.
- Verify material test certificates, calibration certificates, and manufacturer documents for E&I components.
- Witness testing (FAT/SAT) of electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, motors, control panels, PLCs, instruments, and field devices.
- Interface with third-party inspectors and client representatives for quality checks and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, punch points, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout inspection activities.
