We are looking for a talented Content Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals and business objectives. You will create engaging, informative, and well-researched content that resonates with our target audience and helps drive traffic, leads, and conversions. Your primary focus will be on long-form content including web content, articles, blogs, and whitepapers. You should have a strong understanding of copywriting principles and be proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and business objectives.
- Conduct audience research and create buyer personas to tailor content to specific segments.
- Perform content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on content marketing trends and competitors to ensure strategies remain effective.
Content Creation:
- Write and edit high-quality, long-form content including web content, blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, and eBooks.
- Ensure all content follows the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines.
- Research and create content on complex topics, ensuring accuracy, depth, and value to readers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to generate industry-leading content.
- Repurpose content for different formats such as infographics, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Content Marketing and SEO:
- Develop content marketing strategies to distribute and promote content across various platforms, including social media, email, and third-party websites.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase organic traffic, ensuring the use of targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and best practices.
- Track and analyze the performance of content using analytics tools, and adjust strategies to improve engagement and lead generation.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content supports overall marketing initiatives, including product launches and campaigns.
- Stay up to date with content marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance content strategies.
Collaboration and Project Management:
- Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure content is aligned with the brand’s goals.
- Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all content.
- Handle multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Monitor and report on content performance, using data to refine and optimize future strategies.
- Continuously optimize content to improve engagement, conversion rates, and SEO performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in content strategy, content marketing, and content writing.
- Experience writing long-form content such as web content, blog posts, whitepapers, and articles.
- Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices.
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and simplify complex topics for a general audience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or HubSpot.
- Experience using content marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
