Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled- expert Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber and Maven. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through robust automation frameworks and practices.

Key Responsibilities:


•⁠ ⁠Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.


•⁠ ⁠Create and manage BDD test scenarios using Cucumber (Gherkin syntax) for functional and regression testing.

-Experience with UI And REST API Automation testing using REST Assured.


•⁠ ⁠Integrate test automation scripts with Maven for build and dependency management.


•⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain reusable libraries, tools and frameworks for automation testing.


•⁠ ⁠Work closely with developers, product owners and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.


•⁠ ⁠Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and inconsistencies.


•⁠ ⁠Participate in CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins/GitLab CI.


•⁠ ⁠Log and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.


•⁠ ⁠Prepare test reports, document test results and present findings to stakeholders.


•⁠ ⁠Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.


•⁠ ⁠Proven experience (5+ years) in Automation testing with Selenium WebDriver.


•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Java to build framework.


•⁠ ⁠Expert & hands-on experience with TestNG, Cucumber (BDD) and Maven.


•⁠ ⁠Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and Page Object Model (POM).


•⁠ ⁠Experience with version control systems like Git to maintain codebase.


•⁠ ⁠Able to build and integrate automation code into pipeline to run through Jenkins/cicd tool.


•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


•⁠ ⁠Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) to perform crossbrowser testing to test on multiple platforms.
