Responsibilities

Candidate is expected to manage day to day contract drafting and negotiation as an individual contributor with expertise in marketing, advertising, technology, and related areas.Drafting, vetting, restructuring, redlining and negotiation a variety of legal documents including but not limited to Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Leave and Licence Agreements, Inter Company Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Digital Marketing Agreements and various Media agreements.Review and interpret contract language, applicable laws and regulations and effectively communicate to business teams.Work together with business teams to evaluate and advise on transactions they are entering into.Work in a high-paced department and multi-task many contracts in various stages of negotiation.Work as a liaison with the various company teams including client-facing account teams, technology teams, procurement, vendor management, and compliance.Learn and share knowledge from other legal team members.Provide advice on legal and regulatory risks associated with product development and services.Identify legal, commercial, operational risks associated in each commercial contract and taking appropriate steps to resolve and mitigate the risks.Responsible for proper execution of contracts and managing a database/MIS of executed contracts.Conducting and undertaking due diligence activities pertaining to contracts.Provide support in ensuring internal legal compliance on queries pertaining to labour law compliances.Coordinating with various departments/business divisions/counsel for facts gathering in litigations matters and managing MIS for the same.Periodically prepare and report litigation matters to internal stakeholders.Drafting of internal demand notices, rejoinders and reply/responses.Ensure a sound understanding of, demonstrate commitment to & comply with all statutory & Publicis Groupe Policies (Janus) relevant to your role & all activities undertaken in that role.Actively develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Re: Sources personnel both at an interpersonal level and across all business processes within the wider business environment.Actively maintain communication and behaviour standards that foster a culture of strong customer and service excellence both within Re:Sources and across all customer and supplier organisations.

Required Skills

Experience in working on license agreements, technology products and services agreement – SAAS, API, EULA, particularly in the fields of marketing, advertising, technology, and digital media.Experience in digital marketing and advertisement industry, will be a plus.The candidate should have strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills.The candidate should be able to coordinate litigation matters.Good knowledge on commercial contracts, drafting and reviewing vendor and sales agreements including real estate agreements.Ability to analyze risks and complex issues and advise internal business partners appropriately.Knowledge of data privacy laws and related issues.Ability to conduct research on legal subjects.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in English language.Hands on exposure for working knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Word).
