The company takes a proactive approach to security by continuously monitoring and testing digital environments to identify vulnerabilities.Role DescriptionWe are implementing an Enterprise Policy Engine (EP) powered by Plain ID, designed to enforce fine-grained access policies across CRM, cloud data platforms, APIs, reporting tools, and business applications.The project ensures compliance with regional data regulations (e.g., country-specific and region-specific access controls) and is expanding beyond customer experience data into Commerce and Supply Chain domains.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Engineer with hands-on experience in Plain ID (or similar policy-based access control platforms), strong coding ability in Java and Python, and the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions.This role requires working across engineering and business stakeholders to design, implement, and integrate authorization policies that safeguard sensitive data and scale across multiple enterprise systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement authorization policies in Plain ID (Enterprise Policy Engine) for fine-grained access control.Integrate access policies across CRM systems, cloud data platforms (Snowflake), APIs, reporting tools, and applications.Develop automation and integrations using Java and Python for policy enforcement, reporting, and monitoring.Deliver regional and country-specific access policies ensuring compliance with global data protection standards.Collaborate with multiple business domains (CX, Commerce, Supply Chain) to expand Enterprise Policy Engine adoption.Act as an end-to-end contributor: from requirement analysis, coding, testing, deployment, to integration support.Work in Agile delivery environments using JIRA Cloud (execution) and Align (planning).Required SkillsProven hands-on experience with Plain ID or equivalent policy-based access control solutions.Strong Java and Python programming skills for automation and integration.Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar).Solid understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust authorization models.Experience with enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, files, notifications, reporting pipelines).Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Prior experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align.Nice-to-HaveExperience implementing regional or country-specific access controls in global enterprises.Exposure to Commerce and Supply Chain data governance.Familiarity with AI/ML model access management.Engagement DetailsFreelance contract role (remote with potential for occasional travel).Opportunity to contribute to a strategic enterprise initiative on data security and governance.End-to-end responsibility and high visibility across business and technology teams.
