About the Role:

We are seeking a distinguished and accomplished Professor of Medical Oncology to join our esteemed faculty. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cancer care by providing exceptional patient care, driving innovative research, and inspiring the next generation of medical professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Expertise: Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients with complex cancers, utilizing the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of medical oncologists, fellows, and residents, fostering their professional development and clinical excellence.
  • Research Leadership: Actively participate in and lead cutting-edge clinical research trials, contributing significantly to the advancement of the field.
  • Medical Education: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Play a key role in refining and advancing the medical oncology curriculum.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments and specialists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive cancer care.
  • Scholarly Activity: Publish impactful research articles in peer-reviewed oncology journals, maintaining a distinguished publication record.
  • Grant Funding (Desirable): Secure funding for research projects, propelling the institute's research endeavours.
  • Professional Integrity: Uphold and promote the highest ethical standards in both clinical practice and research.

Qualifications:

  • MD in Internal Medicine with DM in Medical Oncology from a recognized university.
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a reputed cancer centre, with a demonstrably successful track record in clinical excellence.
  • Retired Professors would also be considered.
  • Strong leadership qualities, exceptional mentorship skills, and a passion for medical education.
  • A distinguished publication record in high-impact oncology journals.
  • Proven experience in research, and the ability to secure research grants (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
