Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tool Designer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in designing and developing top-quality plastic injection molds, ensuring efficient and successful production processes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for independently designing new plastic injection molds.
  • Proficiency in preparing tooling layouts and concepts for molds.
  • Prepare DFM reports.
  • Responsible for designing engineering changes on existing molds.
  • Understanding customer's requirement and preparing new concepts.
  • Knowledgeable about tool materials, material specifications, heat treatment, and associated processes.
  • Proficient in tool building, assembly, measurement, testing, and other tool room processes.
  • ISO Documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Utilize CAD software (proffered SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar any 3D software) to create detailed 2D and 3D designs of molds, incorporating design standards and best practices.
  • Support on production design activities wherever required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualification

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in mold design (experience must be in Injection Mold design).
  • Qualification must be NTTF/ CIPET/ GTTI/ GTTC/
    Post Diploma in mold design
    / with a background in Tool & Die making.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and creating detailed mold drawings.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding principles.
