Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Software Engineer
with strong expertise in
Java, Apache PySpark, Python, and Reactive Programming
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and data-driven applications for large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    scalable applications
    using
    Java
    and
    Reactive Programming frameworks
    (e.g., Spring WebFlux, Akka, Vert.x).
  • Work on
    big data pipelines
    leveraging
    Apache PySpark
    for ETL, data transformation, and analytics.
  • Build efficient
    data-driven solutions
    and integrate them with cloud-native platforms.
  • Develop reusable
    Python modules
    for automation, data handling, and machine learning integration when required.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver
    end-to-end solutions
    .
  • Ensure
    code quality, performance, and scalability
    through best practices, testing, and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in distributed systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience
    in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Java (Java 8+)
    , with deep understanding of
    object-oriented principles
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Reactive Programming frameworks
    (Spring WebFlux, Akka, Project Reactor, Vert.x).
  • Solid expertise in
    Apache PySpark
    for distributed data processing.
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    for data engineering, automation, or backend services.
  • Good understanding of
    cloud environments
    (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

  • Experience with
    streaming platforms
    (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).
  • Familiarity with
    DevOps tools
    (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of
    SQL/NoSQL databases
