Role Description


This is a full-time, remote role for a Senior React Developer. The Senior React Developer will develop and maintain high-quality software using React and other related libraries and frameworks. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions, and will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end engineers.

You will be working closely with our collaborative team, supporting and building projects as required. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in developing new user-facing features and building reusable components using React.js
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code
  • Optimize components for performance across various web-capable devices and browsers
  • Solid experience in responsive web development
  • Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 with a strong understanding of jQuery or other JavaScript libraries
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processing frameworks such as LESS/SASS is a plus
  • Experience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Git for version control, TypeScript
  • TDD experience with Jest or Cypress etc


React.js Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a React.js Front End Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Familiarity with ECMAScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with data structure libraries like Immutable.js
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is beneficial
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs


Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to develop new features and interfaces from wireframe models
  • Ensure optimal performance and user experience of applications
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
  • Write clean, readable, and testable code
  • Collaborate effectively with back-end developers, designers, and the team to deliver high-quality solutions


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience writing production level code in Ruby for large business platforms (preferably marketplaces, martech or b2b SaaS).
  • Computer Science, Software Development, and Back-End Web Development skills
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and programming paradigms
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex web applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
  • Experience in the marketing and advertising industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
