JOB DESCRIPTION Role Summary: We are seeking experienced SAP ABAP developers to join our team to support the Quality Management (QM) module—specifically the Inspection & Planning area—with strong regulatory (GxP) awareness. The role will work closely with QM functional consultants, Quality/Compliance teams, and cross-module SAP implementation/maintenance teams to build and enhance custom developments, integrations and automations that support inspection planning, results recording, sampling, usage decisions, and regulatory audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to designing, implementing, and testing solutions in an innovative environment that embraces new technologies. Design, code, test, and assure the quality of product features using Agile techniques. Collaborate with product management, product owners, scrum teams, experts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into clear user stories, and implement them with the team. Verify that delivered features meet functional and design requirements and support sign-off on delivery. Show initiative, resolve issues proactively, and deliver with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Requirements Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum 6-8 years (adjustable based on seniority) of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (in both ECC and S/4HANA preferred). University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields. Basic hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP OO. Knowledge of at least one software programming language. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies; willingness to embrace new topics and technologies. Expertise in ABAP, FIORI, ODATA, CDS, BOPF, FPM, FBI. Fluency in written and spoken English. Desirable / Nice to Have: Certification in SAP ABAP or S/4HANA ABAP. Experience in global rollout projects, multi-country implementations. Experience in SAP QM functional domain as well (dual technical + functional capability). Knowledge of validation/qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ), documentation for computerised systems in regulated environment. Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 for QM mobile/interactive use cases. Prior experience working with LIMS/MES/Lab systems integration or pharmaceuticals/medical devices/manufacturing industry.   Meet your team You will join the SCM Core Team , which is responsible for delivering intelligent ERP solutions in the Supply Chain Management space. Experience in interfaces/integration: RFC, Web Services, OData, APIs, IDocs. Good understanding of SAP QM module (Inspection Planning, Sampling Procedures, Usage Decisions, Results Recording) and its technical requirements. Prior exposure to GxP / regulatory environments (pharma, life sciences, medical devices) in SAP QM context — ensuring system compliance, audit readiness, validation documentation. Experience in S/4HANA enhancements (CDS views, AMDP, performance optimisation) is a plus. Ability to analyse functional specifications and convert to technical specifications. Good debugging, performance tracing (SQL Trace, Code Inspector, ABAP Test Cockpit) and optimisation skills. Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to work with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and developers. Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, handle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively.
