We do not tolerate any form of discrimination on the basis of nationality, race, colour, religion, caste, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or marital status and allow for equal opportunities for all our team members.Qualifications/ Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred (from premium institutes like NITIE/SP Jain/IITMumbai/ IIT Kgp/ IIT Chennai/SIOM etc.) 2+ years in Supply Chain Planning / Distribution Planning Preferred industry - Consumer Products / FMCG with experience in product-leveldistribution across mother warehouse and branch warehouses / distribution centresRole & Responsibilities: Distribution Planning & ExecutionLead and drive the distribution plan from Mother Warehouse to 20 BranchWarehouses across multiple product categories.Align planning with business numbers, customer channels, and frequency ofdistribution. Product Availability & Planning FrameworksOwn availability of 1,500–2,000 SKUs by designing robust distribution frameworks,prioritization models, and scenario-based planning to manage constraints.Ensure product availability for billing across all channels. Inventory Management & PolicyDefine and monitor inventory holding policies and norms, based on network leadtimes, SKU classification, and channel priorities.Drive replenishment planning using rolling inventory norms. Optimization of Dispatch & Stock FlowOptimize dispatch plans considering FTL loads, promotional priorities, seasonality,and inter-branch transfer reduction.Ensure effective stock distribution across the network with focus on cost optimizationand availability. Replenishment & Fill RatesEstablish replenishment mechanisms across all inventory nodes.Ensure stock availability and fill rate ownership for all customer channels –distributors, EBOs/MBOs, Modern Trade chains, and e-commerce platforms. Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory ManagementIdentify and monitor slow-moving / obsolete stocks.Design and execute mitigation and liquidation plans to minimize risk. Stakeholder Management & Warehouse & Logistics CoordinationAct as a single point of contact for sales teams on product availability andpredictability.Manage demand-supply balancing for institutional channels and MTO orders.Work closely with warehouse teams to measure and redefine SLAs, ensuring dispatchcompliance and reprioritization as needed.Collaborate with logistics teams for efficient vehicle planning and load optimization.Manage and guide the operational distribution planning team on overallimprovements Reporting & Continuous ImprovementOwn key functional deliverables: S&OP files, stock availability reports, fill rate analysis,dispatch compliance and rolling inventory projections.Contribute to network optimization frameworks and overall efficiency improvements.Preferred Candidate Profile/ Competencies:Supply Chain Planning, Distribution Planning & Inventory PlanningSales & Operations Planning (S&OP)Strong proficiency in Excel & Advanced ExcelAbility to manage complexity of large SKU base and multi-channel distribution.Excellent cross-functional collaboration (Sales, SCM, Finance, Logistics).Proactive mind-set with ability to balance cost, availability, and service levels.
