Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Structural Designer
with a strong background in real estate projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings and other infrastructure, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Structural Design
    :

  2. Prepare structural designs and layouts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

  3. Conduct structural analysis and calculations using tools like STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar software.

  4. Design based on applicable IS codes and standards.

  5. Project Coordination
    :

  6. Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and project managers to align structural requirements with overall project goals.

  7. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure seamless execution of structural plans.

  8. Code Compliance and Safety
    :

  9. Ensure designs comply with IS codes, local building regulations, and safety standards.

  10. Conduct periodic reviews to verify design adherence during project execution.

  11. Documentation and Reporting
    :

  12. Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including structural drawings, calculations, and material specifications.

  13. Generate and review structural inspection reports and resolve design issues promptly.

  14. Material Selection and Testing
    :

  15. Recommend appropriate construction materials based on structural requirements.

  16. Supervise material testing (inward and on-site) and ensure quality standards.

  17. Team Management
    :

  18. Guide and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen.

  19. Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to meet project timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of IS codes (IS 456, IS 1893, IS 13920, etc.) and other structural standards.
  • Experience in G+10 to G+22 structures, including both RCC and steel frameworks.
  • Understanding of quality control processes, material testing, and checklists.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
