The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in technical SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), content strategy, backlink acquisition, and multilingual SEO, and is ready to take full ownership of key SEO initiatives.ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, and manage end-to-end SEO strategies including technical, on-page, off-page, and international SEO.Perform in-depth competitor analysis to uncover keyword gaps, backlink opportunities, and strategic insights to inform SEO roadmap.Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, resolve crawl errors, optimize Core Web Vitals, and ensure site architecture aligns with SEO best practices.Develop and execute Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to capture featured snippets, People Also Ask, and voice search placements.Lead keyword research and content planning, aligned with business goals and user intent.Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize SEO-driven content.Implement and maintain multilingual SEO best practices, including hreflang tags, localized keyword strategies, and international site structure optimization.Take ownership of SEO KPIs and continuously test, iterate, and optimize for performance.RequirementsA Bachelor degree.4–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven track record of driving organic growth across complex websites.Strong expertise in technical SEO, site health, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.Demonstrated experience with competitor analysis tools and frameworks.Experience with multilingual and international SEO, including hreflang implementation and regional content strategies.Familiarity with AEO techniques, including SERP feature optimization and structured data.Deep understanding of content marketing and keyword-driven content development.Proven success in backlink acquisition and off-page SEO strategy.Proficient in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, etc.Strong analytical mindset and ability to derive insights from data.Self-starter with a take-ownership mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and CMS experience (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify).Why Join JoVE?You can expect salary and benefit package competitively placed within the local market.You will make a direct impact in accelerating education and student learning with our video-first approach.Opportunity to work in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.Our strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
