About the Role - The role involves the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software applications, tailored to domain-specific technical and system requirements. Core responsibilities include software analysis, design, testing (unit, functional, and system-level), and delivering comprehensive documentation such as software specifications, design documents, test reports, and release notes throughout the project lifecycle. The role demands proficiency in developing software solutions using established programming languages like C/C++ and Java, with the ability to learn new languages as required. Additional tasks include solving complex design challenges and integrating advanced technologies like Adaptive AUTOSAR, Automotive Ethernet, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Responsibilities -
- Design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software application.
- Analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement & participate in software design.
- Perform software testing including unit, functional, and system level requirement including manual and automated.
- Document technical deliverables like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for a specific project.
- Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
Qualifications - Typically requires overall of 14 Years experience with 5–7 years of related experience with SDV with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
Required Skills -
- C/C++, Java, Android Framework/ Linux/ RTOS, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Service Oriented Architecture based development, Automotive Ethernet, Hypervisor, Virtualization, Virt I/O, Automotive Grade Linux
- SDV: Embedded C, MCU/MPU, Linux/QNX, Embedded Middleware are the basic skills required.
Preferred Skills:
- Ethernet Driver Development or Integration experience is a must.
- SOA: Service Oriented Architecture based experience is a must.
- SOME/IP, Automotive Ethernet experience is preferred.
- Adaptive AUTOSAR based experience is preferred.
