About the Role: In this role, you will build the importer that moves entire automation systems in one click. Solve complex data problems. Open new markets at scale. Our automation platform handles 12B+ actions/month and powers real business outcomes for millions of SMBs. Your importer will be a critical gateway enabling seamless migration into this ecosystem. Requirements: 6+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale backend systems using Javascript Strong fundamental engineering skills: architecture, clean code, testing. Experience with node.Js / nest.Js / express.Js Demonstrated ability to design and deliver reliable data pipelines and integrations Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, especially with product and design Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for engineering excellence Practical experience in reliable error handling at scale Deep database knowledge (MongoDB, Firestore) Proven experience handling complex API integrations and data transformations Strong knowledge of queues (Pub/Sub, Redis) and asynchronous processing. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of core platform primitives — availability resolution, appointment lifecycles, time zone handling, and state-driven workflows Architect a system that prioritizes configuration-driven behavior over hardcoded logic, enabling dynamic rule-based booking flows Build scalable, composable services using NestJS, Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and GCP services like Cloud Tasks, Scheduler, and Pub/Sub Partner with product managers to translate industry-agnostic scheduling needs into developer-facing building blocks Drive platform-wide consistency in API design, configuration modeling, error handling, and extensibility Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure platform reliability, observability (Grafana/Prometheus), and maintainability Mentor engineers and foster a strong culture of platform thinking, technical excellence, and high ownership
