The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 1 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.Responsibilities:This role is an individual contributor which involves supporting and mentoring a small Operation Support team through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities as well as recommending new work procedures to help streamline operationsBe a subject matter expert in the process & conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of team workAnalyze operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problemsResponsible for identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established proceduresFacilitate training based on needs of staff within the department and assist with answering staff questions as neededIdentify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffingServe as a backup for manager, as neededAssist with ongoing Lean and process improvement projectsResolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating as neededAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Previous relevant experience preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeGeneral knowledge of client reporting across the industry and our competitorsWorking knowledge of SQL environments and database queriesProven organization and time management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
