Job Purpose
As the CoE of Process Excellence and Quality, the role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities focused on leading and implementing initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the Manufacturing organization. Additionally, it would involve working closely with various departments and stakeholders, developing strategies to optimize processes, and ensuring that best practices are implemented across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic
Develop Vision and Strategy to create and communicate a clear vision for process excellence and quality improvement that is aligned with organizational goals with respect to manufacturing.
Process
Process Analysis : Conduct thorough analyses of current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Evaluate and assess best practices to implement
Process Redesign : Redesign processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, often using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM). Identifying process improvement opportunities and initiating projects to accomplish them using appropriate methodology.
Implementation : Oversee the implementation of new processes and ensure they are properly integrated into the organization’s operations. Develop & Implementation of the innovation framework.
Quality Standards: Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Focus on PQCDSM + sustainability through CI, Six Sigma, Lean, VSM, process improvements etc.
Quality Control: Implement robust quality control measures and monitoring systems to ensure products/services meet established quality criteria.
Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular quality audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : Define, track, and report on KPIs related to process efficiency and quality.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive data-informed decision-making. Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing processes and operations. Conduct benchmarking studies to compare the organization's performance with industry best practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. With the intent to meet customer satisfaction.
