Who we are About this Role We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to ensure the performance, security, availability, and reliability of Oracle databases across business-critical environments. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and operational efficiency, with exposure to Exadata, Oracle RAC, Cloud platforms, and automation tools. What you’ll do Manage and optimise Oracle Database Architecture for high-performance environments. Perform advanced SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimisation. Troubleshoot performance issues using AWR, ASH, SQL Profiles, and SQL Baselines. Configure and optimise memory, CPU, and storage for Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Cloud deployments. Apply PL/SQL for debugging and feature enhancements. Implement basic OS (Linux RedHat/Oracle), storage, and networking concepts. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Ansible, and Python. Monitor databases using OEM Cloud Control and third-party tools like Datadog and Grafana. Leverage AWS RDS and Terraform for cloud database management. Collaborate using application development tools such as GIT and Visual Studio. Who you are A technically proficient individual with advanced knowledge of Oracle database systems. Skilled in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex database environments. Familiar with cloud platforms and automation tools. Able to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to evolving technologies. Experienced in scripting and monitoring tools to drive operational efficiency.
