Key Responsibilities:

Testing and Inspection of MEP Systems :Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and building automation systems.Develop and implement test plans and procedures for each system in line with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Perform functional, performance, and safety testing of equipment, ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet design parameters.Commissioning Activities :Oversee and supervise the commissioning process of all MEP systems, ensuring proper startup, calibration, and configuration of all components.Review system drawings, manuals, and specifications to ensure compliance with the design and operational requirements.Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth installation and commissioning activities.Ensure the integration of various MEP systems and verify their interoperability across the project.System Integration and Troubleshooting :Ensure the integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with other building systems such as automation, security, and energy management systems.Troubleshoot issues during the commissioning phase and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any system failures or discrepancies.Perform troubleshooting on-site to ensure that any commissioning-related issues are diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner.Documentation and Reporting :Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including results of tests, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.Complete all necessary documentation for compliance with client requirements and industry regulations, including test certificates, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.Maintain accurate records of testing, commissioning progress, and any deviations from the planned schedule or design.Collaboration with Other Stakeholders :Liaise with the project management team, design engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of the commissioning plan.Provide technical support and guidance to other site teams, including installation and maintenance personnel.Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to project management and recommend corrective actions.Health, Safety, and Compliance :Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.Participate in site safety meetings and ensure the safety of all personnel involved in the commissioning process.Verify that all systems meet local regulatory standards, codes, and safety protocols.Client and Stakeholder Liaison :Serve as the point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.Conduct training for clients and end-users on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Ensure a smooth handover process to the client, ensuring all documentation and system records are completed.Post-Commissioning Support :Provide post-commissioning support for defect rectification, system adjustments, and troubleshooting during the warranty period.Assist with the maintenance and operation of systems as required, ensuring that they continue to function at optimal levels.
