iSoftStone is looking for a talented Software Test Engineer with at least 3+ years of experience in testing. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functional delivery and resolution of incoming requests for client products and web sites. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring products/services meet the established Microsoft Accessibility Standard (MAS) requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth assessments of products and web sites submitted for testing Create test cases and prepare test plans for both feature and accessibility testing that is based on Microsoft Accessibility Standards (MAS)
  • Execute user interface and API tests according to test plans as well as ad hoc.
  • Create, update and maintain automated testing scripts Identify, prioritize, and log bugs
  • Communicate status of bug activity Work with developers, PM, client manager, on a day-to-day basis
  • Must be able to perform work effectively in an agile environment and handle multiple test tasks and demands simultaneously
  • Participate in scrum and team meetings and should be able to work independently in a time critical environment and as part of a team on special and ongoing projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical, presentation, and reporting skills
  • Must be flexible to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes


Required Qualifications

  • DHS Trusted Certified Tester
  • Understanding of accessibility testing tools such as Axe, Wave, and Accessibility Insights
  • Understanding of Microsoft Accessibility Standards (MAS)
  • Proficiency with Assistive Technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, Narrator
  • Extensive knowledge of WCAG 2.1 requirements to get a website to an AA level of compliance Familiarity with WAI-ARIA best practices
  • Knowledge of IT process improvement and various IT QA standards
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a team player
  • Experience in working in a SCRUM team and facilitating the scrum process
  • Prior practical experience with feature, api and accessibility testing and regression
  • Experience with automated testing tool such as Selenium or similar.
