Role
The Cybersecurity Incident Management Training Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive training programs focused on incident management, including table-top exercises (TTX), awareness initiatives, and escalation matrices. This role involves collaborating with various departments to enhance the organization's preparedness and response to cybersecurity incidents.
The Cyber Incident Management Training Officer reports to the Incident Response Manager.
Responsibilities
As an Incident Response Analyst within the CMA CGM group CERT, you will:
Maintain documentation and process particularly the incident response plan (IRP): Maintain up to date IRP & appendix
Maintain the Plan in relationship with other plans and policies in effect
Refine the specific incident playbooks so that each actor is as relevant as possible
Improve process with legal, communication departments
Write IRPs contextualized to a specific scope (Ships, Region, Subsidiaries…)
Regroup lessons learned and provide improvement recommendations
Establish links between incidents
Provide evidence to external or internal auditors
Prepare contributors to know and play their role during a cyber security incident Create and facilitate table-top exercises (TTX) to simulate cybersecurity incidents, evaluating the preparedness of incident response teams.
Produce and disseminate educational materials, such as presentations, guides, and online modules, to enhance cybersecurity awareness.
Lead initiatives to promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
Design and conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on identifying and reporting potential security threats.
Develop and maintain an escalation matrix to ensure prompt and proper escalation of cybersecurity incidents.
Train staff on the usage and importance of the escalation matrix.
Regularly review and update the escalation matrix to reflect changes in the organizational structure and threat landscape.
Act as the primary contact for incident management training-related inquiries and support.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and proactive cybersecurity practices within the organization.
Other responsibilities:
Participate to Cyber Defense Center transversal collaboration activities
Participate to projects, improvements and compliance efforts related to CERT matters
These activities are non-exhaustive and can evolve according to operational needs.
Profile
You profile corresponds to the following criteria:
You hold relevant cybersecurity industry certifications, including:
CISM
CISSP
CEH
You are from a STEM, cybersecurity or equivalent academic background, focused on rigor and optimization
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident management and training. Experience in conducting table-top exercises and developing training programs is essential.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident response frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training content and simulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You know how to keep your cool under pressure and think straight in moments of chaos
You have a good understanding of information security incident management processes and methodologies (e.g.: ISO 27035, NIST framework or SANS 6-steps)
You master oral and written English in a professional context
