Here are the main responsibilities: • Network Management:Overseeing the setup, maintenance, and optimization of network systems, including LANs, WANs, intranets, and extranets. Ensuring network security and reliability are paramount. • Server Management:Managing physical and virtual servers to ensure high availability and performance. They are responsible for server installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring. • Data Centre Management:Supervising the operation of data centres, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and capable of meeting the organization's data processing needs. • Cloud Services Management:Integrating and managing cloud services to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency. This includes overseeing cloud storage solutions, virtual networks, and cloud-based applications. • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:Implementing and maintaining monitoring tools to detect and resolve system performance issues promptly. Ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance by troubleshooting problems as they arise. • Security Management:Developing and enforcing IT security policies to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
