Creative Leadership:
Develop and lead the copywriting team in creating high-quality, compelling content for integrated campaigns, including digital, print, broadcast, social media, and experiential.
Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to ensure that all copy is on brand, strategically sound, and aligns with client goals.
Collaborate with art directors and designers to ensure cohesive storytelling across all visual and written elements.
Strategic Development:
Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts that align with client objectives and brand strategies.
Interpret client briefs and translate them into compelling copy strategies that drive results.
Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform creative strategies and keep the team ahead of the curve.
Client Interaction:
Present creative concepts to clients and articulate the rationale behind creative decisions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and a deep understanding of their brand and business goals.
Act as a primary point of contact for client feedback and revisions, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
Project Management:
Oversee multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines and resources are allocated efficiently.
Work closely with project managers to develop timelines, allocate tasks, and manage the workload of the copy team.
Maintain high standards for copy quality and ensure all work meets legal, ethical, and client-specific guidelines.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop junior copywriters, guiding career growth and skill enhancement.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creative excellence and innovation.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to support team members’ professional development.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in copywriting within an integrated or digital agency, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience in developing successful integrated campaigns across various media platforms.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across different channels and industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to clients and internal teams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using creative tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite and project management software.
Passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of brand voice and tone.
