In India, we are a team of 1900-plus creators sharing the passion to excite our players and customers by creating the world's best game experiences. SciPlay was operating as an independent company, In August this year, Light & Wonder completely acquired SciPlay to develop and launch the best games cross-platform.


Role : Data Engineer


Exp : 3- 7 years


Location : Bangalore, hybrid culture


Required Experience:


- 3 years as a Data Engineer on a data, analytics, or data science team


- Experience with building streaming pipelines at scale using Spark


- Advanced experience with AWS cloud services


- Advanced working SQL experience as well as performance turning


- Experience with data pipeline workflow management tools such as Airflow


- Experience working with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams


Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities :


- People person, team player with a strong can-do mentality


- Proficient in data modeling principles


- Proficiency in Snowflake and other data warehousing solutions (Redshift/Big Query)


- Proficiency in Databricks


- Advanced knowledge in Python


- Knowledge and ability to write, test, and debug APIs


- Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative, and be a logical thinker


- Must be an inquisitive learner and have a thirst for improvement


- Ability to understand and apply customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen

implications and making design recommendations


- Strong facilitation and consensus building skills


- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate by simplifying complexity


- Ability to provide work guidance to junior level developers


- Enjoys higher learning and keeps track of industry best practices and trends


- Takes advantage of process and system improvement opportunities through acquired

knowledge


- Be proactive requiring minimal supervision


- Have strong time management ability and work organization skills


- Have the ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks, and at times meet tight

deadlines
