PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Job Summary: The Analyst, Development Reporting, will report to the Sr. Manager, Development Reporting and Forecasting. Will be primarily responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. It also involves designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards, and providing reporting assistance and training to others. RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and Responsibilities: Description: Assemble, validate, and organize data into formats/visualizations that can quickly be translated into business decisions to support Inspires Branded growth efforts. As part of this, deriving insights, identifying correlations, finding patterns, and applying statistical methods to data will be central to the success of this role. Strong analytical and storytelling skills will be a strength. Power BI skills are necessary. Collaborate with IT and other departments to design, build, and maintain regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Alteryx and Power BI. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation processes. Communicating discoveries to a wide range of audiences. Participation in compiling data for reports ranging from functional tracking to leadership presentation materials will be required. Support the implementation of new reporting tools and systems as needed, including training and assisting team members. Assist the reporting transformation as we continue to implement new reporting as well as improve existing reports. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: Education Requirements : Min/Preferred: Minimum Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Description: Business; Finance; Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION Years Of Experience: Minimum Years of Experience : 3 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and Excel; familiarity with additional BI tools (e.g. Python) is a plus. Creative and Analytical Thinking: Ability to think innovatively with a strong grounding in statistical analyses. Strong and Effective Communication: Strong ability to clearly convey findings to a wide range of audiences from functional experts to executive leaders within Inspire. Must be able to comprehend the requests received and be comfortable to ask questions when directions are not precise. Data Curiosity: Must be comfortable asking questions regarding the data and processes and be comfortable asking why we are doing things Data Visualization: Strong data visualization skills and acumen required. Data Management: Clear understanding of data warehousing and the structure of data from and to various sources. Data Mining, Organization and Cleaning: Strong organizational skills and proficiency in navigating data that is not neatly stored or structured in a database is a must. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Advanced skill level with PowerPoint preferred. Machine Learning: Machine learning skills is a plus Business Acumen: Experience with data analytics in retail or restaurant development is a plus
