POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Data Layer Engineer to be based in Bangalore.
REQUIREMENTS:
Data Layer Engineer
Design, implement, and manage databases to store the organization's data, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources into the organization's data infrastructure.
Optimize database and query performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Establish data quality standards and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Automate data infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and maintenance processes to improve efficiency.
Monitor the health and performance of the data infrastructure and proactively address any issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data management and analytics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, database administration, working on MariaDB, Cassandra, MS-SQL and alike
Proficiency in database design, SQL, and data modeling.
Experience with ETL tools and techniques for data integration and transformation.
Knowledge of database performance tuning, security best practices, and data governance.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.
