Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

WordPress Development :

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

- Convert PSDs, Figma designs, or wireframes into pixel-perfect and responsive WordPress themes.

- Optimize WordPress websites for performance, scalability, and SEO.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all WordPress projects.

- Implement website security measures and troubleshoot vulnerabilities.

Plugin & Theme Customization :

- Create and customize WordPress plugins to meet specific project requirements.

- Customize existing themes or build new themes from scratch, adhering to WordPress coding standards.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress sites.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize websites for speed and load time using tools like Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights.

- Implement caching solutions, lazy loading, and code minification.

- Debug and troubleshoot website performance issues efficiently.

Technical Maintenance & Support :

- Manage website hosting, backups, updates, and migrations.

- Debug and resolve issues related to WordPress core, plugins, and themes.

- Provide technical support for existing websites and implement enhancements as required.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and other developers to ensure cohesive project execution.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.

- Maintain detailed project documentation for themes, plugins, and custom integrations.

Qualifications and Skills :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in WordPress core, including themes, plugins, and API integration.

- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL, and server-side WordPress development.

- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue. js (preferred but not mandatory).

- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.

- Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques (e. , caching, CDN setup).

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience in integrating REST APIs and third-party services into WordPress.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Additional Qualifications :

- Experience with modern development tools such as Docker, Webpack, or task runners like Gulp/Grunt is a plus.

- Knowledge of website accessibility standards and practices is advantageous
