Candidate should be able to:
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
Test company software, firmware, and firewalls in AWS.
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks in AWS.
Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware or IT needs.
Develop best practices and security standards for the organization.
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs in AWS.
Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information in AWS
Analyze security systems and seek improvements continuously in AWS.
Proficiency in architecting and deploying security best practices across the AWS technology stack.
Candidate should have:
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills
Experience with network security, networking technologies, system security, and network monitoring tools
Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols.
Experience in configuring VPC, security groups in AWS.
Experience in building and maintaining security systems in AWS using tools provided by Amazon.
Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
Basic coding skills, such as python and other languages
Hands-on experience with Security and Identity and Compliance services such as IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch, Guard Duty, Inspector, and Audit Manager.
Certifications such as AWS certified security - Specialty, CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or CISM desired
At least 3 years experience in the cybersecurity industry
