Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to design, implement, and manage our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our processes, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Monitor the health and performance of systems and proactively resolve issues.
  • Automate infrastructure management and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud-based environments for high availability, security, and performance.
  • Implement containerization strategies with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system security by enforcing best practices, managing firewalls, and ensuring compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies and practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Certifications in DevOps, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes would be a plus.
