Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead one of our critical Banking Implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development (preferably Java ) and extensive experience in Project Management , Governance , and Banking Projects .

The candidate must possess the ability to manage and deliver complex technical projects, working closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large-scale Banking Implementation project, ensuring technical feasibility, timely delivery, and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from technical planning, design, and architecture to execution and delivery.
  • Manage technical teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, deadlines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Implement robust governance frameworks to ensure that technical solutions meet organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions—technical teams, business leaders, and external partners—to ensure project goals and technical requirements are met.
  • Drive the development and deployment of software solutions, leveraging Java and other relevant technologies, ensuring they meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project.
  • Provide regular status reports on technical progress, risks, and roadblocks to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all technical project documentation, policies, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory experience in Banking Projects , with 10-16 years of total professional experience and at least 5+ years in Project Management , ideally in a technical project management role.
  • Strong background in managing technical implementations in the Banking or Financial Services industry, including experience with core banking systems or related software.
  • Proven experience in software development , with a focus on Java technologies and related development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of technical project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and governance frameworks.
  • Deep technical expertise to guide and support development teams on architecture, design, and implementation issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or technical certifications) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Expertise in banking software solutions , core banking systems , and financial services applications .
  • Experience working with Java-based development environments , cloud platforms, and modern development tools.
