Who are we looking for?

As Airblack enters its next phase of growth in building a one-stop learning platform for entrepreneurs and creators, we are looking for a Creative Strategist to take the Airblack Brand to 10M people in the next 3-4 years. With over 50M impressions a month and over 350K followers, we are one of the fastest growing content-led brands in India. The ideal candidate must be able to toggle between strategy and execution and must thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous working environment.

An ideal person is someone who is on top of social trends, eager to know what existing brands are doing, and acts as the brand guardian to make business recommendations relevant to the overall growth of the brand. What would you be doing?

As a Creative Strategist, you'd be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement strong social media strategies in alignment with the goals of Airblack's brand identity to drive brand awareness and position Airblack as the thought leader in the beauty space.
  • Craft detailed and persuasive briefs, and precise content writing for a spectrum of storytelling initiatives. This includes short and long-form videos, reels, stories posts, influencer and co-branded campaigns.
  • Create compelling content for our social or ad requirements, wearing multiple hats from creation to direction
  • Collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring consistency of brand communication and fostering seamless coordination across cross-team projects
  • Navigate beauty and makeup artist communities, building connections that strengthen our brand presence and sourcing experts & creators for partnerships. Bonus: Get access to relationships with India's top creators and experts
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with brands to create mutually beneficial collaborations. Bonus: Own relationships with India's brands that already work closely with Airblack
  • Identify and lead the company into new areas of digital engagement beyond existing channels through competitive research, audience identification, and strategy building
  • Assist teams across strategy, performance marketing and operations in creating and managing campaigns across social channels

What makes you a suitable candidate?

We would love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-6 years of experience in handling brand, social media management
  • Have experience in starting or scaling social media pages (either your own or for a particular brand)
  • Passionate about writing the perfect script and getting the perfect shot
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Socially adept and enthusiastic about cultivating and nurturing relationships with other creators, video editors, designers, and brands
