Role summary: Our client company is looking for an enthusiastic & passionate recruiter, who would be adept at identifying top talent across various functions, from design and operations to production & various other technical skill sets needed for our client's firm which is a garment / fashion design services outsourcing & export firm. This role is pivotal in ensuring our client is able to attract and retain skilled professionals who will contribute to their growth and build & uphold their reputation for excellence in the fashion industry. The Recruiter will work closely with the HR Head & department business heads to understand their staffing needs and develop strategic recruiting plans to meet those requirements. Currently there is no recruiting team & this individual would be the first founding member of the TA team - which can also mean a great career path & growth ahead.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with the HR Head, CEO & department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions appropriately.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels, job boards & networks (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
  • Design and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and labor market conditions to effectively advise on recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, newspapers, etc.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to sr management.
  • Maintaining a great candidate experience for applicants.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
  • Stay informed of the best campuses through which the company can hire as well, & hire through campuses on the advise of top management, as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years max of experience in recruiting. (we are looking for recruitment specialists & not looking to hire HR Generalists who have done recruiting)
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably within the garment/apparel or export industry but open to other design based hiring experience as well.
  • Familiarity with various recruiting tools and techniques, including social media recruiting.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency in salary negotiations & closure of offers, reducing dropout rates in the process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
