Position: Designer – PHE & Fire Fighting

Location: Bangalore


Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled PHE and Fire Fighting Designer to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design plans for public health engineering systems and fire safety measures in office buildings. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and creativity to ensure that all projects comply with legal standards and client requirements.


Design Development:

Create detailed designs and specifications for plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems using BIM and Revit software, ensuring technical precision and compliance with building codes.


Team Collaboration:

Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate PHE and fire safety systems into building designs, ensuring optimal placement and functionality.


Compliance and Risk Management:

Regularly update knowledge of building regulations and conduct risk assessments to ensure designs meet all safety standards and mitigate potential hazards.


Project Coordination:

Assist in managing project timelines and coordinate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and timely completion of projects.


Technical Advisory:

Provide expert advice on PHE and fire safety systems, continuously seeking new technologies and methods to enhance design efficiency and sustainability.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degreein Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 7- 12 years of experience of working on Corporate Interiors fit outs / Commercial fit outs with proven experience as a PHE and Fire Fighting Designer,
  • Proficiency in design softwaresuch as Revit.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in Indian designprojects.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards related to PHE and fire safety.
