Detailed role description:


A Data Scientist assists us in processing, analyzing and synthesizing information related to the Insurance markets globally. The Machine Learning Specialist will help us enhance our NLP based search and help enhance our existing predictive algorithms that help insurers predict successful customer and product / price outcomes, automate underwriting decision processes via recurrent learning loops and forecast portfolio performance.


Desired skills:

• A university degree from reputed Indian or International universities with a record of academic excellence

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Mining, Machine Learning, NLP & classification algorithms

• Experience with Large Scale/ Big Data methods, such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, or Storm, TensorFlow

• Prior hands-on experience with applications including R and Python

• An awareness and interest in economic, financial and general business concepts and terminology

• Excellent written and verbal command of English

• Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills

• A professional attitude and service orientation with the ability to work with London based international team
