Materials Management/Warehouse Management – Procure to Pay (PTP)
Overview
The SAP MM and WM Business Analyst position utilizes the knowledge of SAP structure and configurations to create and support a global SAP environment. The Business Analyst works in a team environment to recommend, design, and deliver software solutions that enable business processes and users to enhance the productivity and profitability of the company. Essential skills for this job includes: purchase order process, create pricing and tax procedures for purchasing, stock transport order (STO) process, output determination, MRP, integration towards supplier portal, warehouse configuration (storage type, picking area, storage section, queue management), wave picking, warehouse monitoring. Experience interfacing with various other modules of SAP such as CO, FI, LE, PP, QM and SD.
Qualifications
Five plus years relevant SAP MM and WM configuration experience
Experience with process documentation and testing
Experience as a Business Analyst in two full lifecycle SAP implementations required
Experience with MRP, procurement & master data management
Experience in various global specifications and requirements in PTP area
Experience in configuring Pricing Procedures as well as Tax configuration
Experience in S/4 Hana
Experience in SAP Fiori implementation
Working EU hour
Responsibilities
Works closely with business leaders to provide consultancy and support for SAP MM and WM modules.
Interacts with functional users to identify and provide training and improvement opportunities for both users and processes.
Performs functional user assessments to process leads to ensure process and procedures are performed in accordance with work instructions.
Configuration and troubleshooting for SAP MM and WM modules.
Works with outside consulting firms to support upgrades and project requirements.
Analyzes and evaluates existing Southco business functions and processes related to key areas such as: purchasing process, STO process, picking and put away process.
Defines and documents system transactions and processes in support of processes defined in Southco’s blueprints.
Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development.
Trains users and supports training in the usage of system functionality.
Creates and performs unit and integration testing scenarios using SAP solution manager. Troubleshoots and resolve issues from testing.
