  • About the Job – Looking for Websphere Admin for Birlasoft Ltd
  • Job Title – Sr. Lead Consultant
  • Location : Bangalore
  • Educational Background – Any Graduate/Any Postgraduate
  • Key Responsibilities – Extensive experience as an Websphere and Websphere Liberty Admin Should know Installing Upgrade Fix Packs and Migrating to latest versions. Should have experience in applying Refresh packs, Fix packs, Cumulative Fix packs for all versions of WebSphere application server and different flavors of Web Servers Should have experience in migrating of Web-Sphere 8.x, 9.x on AIX, Linux and Windows. Should have experience in troubleshoot Admin Server start-up issues, Java code defects after deployment, and class path issues by checking the JVM logs, plug-in as well as Web Server logs. Should have experience in troubleshooting, performing RCA and finding a permanent fix which includes all the production and non-production environments. Attending calls and providing on-call support. Should have experience in opening PMR with IBM for Web-Sphere Environmental Issues and Involved in conference calls. Should have experience in scripting and CICD pipeline Automation Should have experience in troubleshooting the issues with server and application deployed on it by using Logs and Trace, Server memory dump, Event logging features. Should have experience in migration and upgradation of Liberty Application Server and updating JDK versions, applying patches and installing service packs for Liberty Application Server. Should have experience in creating new JVM instance in Liberty and creating Folder & Files structure to maintain the product installation
