Data Modeler with DBT

Role – Data Modeler with DBT

Urgency / TAT – Urgent / within 30 days

Duration – Long Term.

Salary Range Exception – Only if the candidate brings strong relevant experience which will be

determined after the interview. Please let me know before submitting the profile. Pls. note this is

extreme scenario and will require client approval.

Pre-requisite checklist/expectations from the candidate before sharing the relevant profile:

1. Excellent Communication Skills – Please do the due diligence before sharing any relevant profile.

2. Onboarding duration – Max 4 weeks to onboard the candidate. Please set the expectations with

the candidate in advance to avoid any confusion down the line.

3. Location – Mostly Remote. If required, candidate may have to travel for short business trips.

4. Working Hours – 2pm to 11pm IST for offshore

5. Candidate must have the minimum of 8+ years of experience working as an admin/architect.

6. Must have relevant experience of min 5 years in Data Modeler role with implementation

experience using Erwin, Autosys or any other Data modeler tool.

7. Hands-on with either DBT & Airflow experience

8. Experience of working in healthcare domain would be a huge plus.

Job description:

 Responsible for day-to-day requirement gathering processes and overseeing the

implementation of the technical design, data modeling, data profiling and data analysis.

 Able to work with Data Steward to create business rules and data models using either

Erwin/Autosys or any other data modeler tool.

 Set up DBT project on Gitlab. Terraform/deployment scripts familiarity.

 Expertise with Source to Target Mapping and Function Requirement Specifications Docs.

 Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes to extract insights from existing data

leveraging rigorous project management discipline to ensure the highest possible quality of

delivery while managing team capacity.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment and mentor team members.

 Conduct business due-diligence activities to identify analytics opportunities for transformation.

 Should be willing to work in Afternoon Shifts (2pm to 11pm IST) (only for offshore).

 Ability to manage high volume and high complexity data projects across multiple delivery

locations in virtual environment with excellent client communication skills.

 Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
