You'll be set up for success as a "HR - BP" at Miles if:
Y ou as a Human Resources Business Partner (HR BP), will help in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. Working closely with senior management and various departments, you will contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that foster organizational growth, employee engagement, and overall business success. The HR BP will serve as a trusted advisor, addressing HR-related needs, challenges, and opportunities while ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support and drive organizational success.
Conduct regular needs assessments to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate actions.
Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, create job descriptions, and facilitate the recruitment process.
Provide guidance on talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
Act as a mediator and advisor in resolving workplace conflicts and employee relations issues.
Promote a positive work environment through effective communication, coaching, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with managers to establish performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and recognition programs.
Identify training needs and collaborate with the Learning and Development team to design and implement relevant programs.
Stay current on employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices are in compliance. Provide guidance on legal and regulatory issues related to HR matters.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Prepare regular HR reports for stakeholders , highlighting key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on strategic business partnership and program management.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team culture.
Start-Up Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a start-up environment, bringing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities.
Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical with the ability to think strategically about HR challenges and solutions.
Initiative: Proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and drive HR programs forward.
