About Company : SoftTech Engineers Limited, Pune is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Power BI, T-SQL, and database management, along with experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise-level BI solutions. About Role : Job Summary As a Power BI Developer, you will transform raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design data models, develop visualizations, and ensure reliable deployment and maintenance of BI solutions. This role requires expertise in Microsoft's Power Platform ecosystem, SQL Server technologies, and modern data visualization best practices. Required Skills : • Core Power BI: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Mobile • DAX: Advanced DAX functions, time intelligence, filter context, iterator functions • Power Query: Data transformation, query optimization, query folding and M language (Preferred) • Data Modelling: Star schema, relationships, calculated tables, aggregations • Visualization: Custom visuals, formatting, storytelling with data, mobile optimization Web • JavaScript: ES6+, async/await, fetch API, DOM manipulation, event handling • HTML/CSS: Responsive design, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material-UI), Flexbox/Grid • Authentication: OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, Azure AD integration, service principals • Web APIs: REST API consumption, HTTP methods, JSON handling, error handling Database & SQL • T-SQL: Advanced queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, pivoting • SQL Server: Database design, indexing, performance tuning, backup/recovery • SSIS: Package development, data flows, control flows, deployment • Version Control: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub • CI/CD: Azure DevOps pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation • Cloud Platforms: Azure (Data Factory, SQL Database, Analysis Services) • APIs: REST APIs, JSON/XML parsing, authentication methods
