Responsibilities :

- Work on cloud-based architectures that are highly scalable, available, and performant.

- Define the technology stack, architecture, and engineering processes for your projects.

- Architect and design two or more moderate-to-high-complexity projects at a time.

- Conduct design and architecture reviews for projects other than your own.

- Tackle the hardest problems by applying design-driven development.

- Mentor enterprise-grade engineers and be mentored by industry vets.

- Be the focal point for implementing and leading the most complex and critical engineering tasks for Kickdrum's customers and leadership team.

Technical Skills :


- Cloud Services: Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with cloud-native services, serverless architectures, and microservices.


- Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or C#.


- Frameworks and Libraries: Strong knowledge of frameworks and libraries like Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.


- DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.


- Database Systems: Proficient in both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).


- Security: In-depth understanding of security best practices and standards, including encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and secure coding practices.


- APIs and Integration: Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other integration methods.


- Monitoring and Performance: Experience with monitoring and performance tools such as Prometheus,

Grafana, ELK Stack, or New Relic.


- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.


- Containerization: Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.


- Big Data: Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.


- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
