We are looking for below skills:Please fill this below Microsoft forms:CAD Automation Specialist- Pune (0-30 days NP) – Fill out formOr share resume - Job Summary:We are looking for a CAD Practices Automation Specialist to drive efficiency and innovation in our design processes through automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CATIA V5/V6, scripting (VBScript, Python), and EKL (Engineering Knowledge Language), with a focus on automating design tasks and business processes within the CATIA environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline CAD design workflows.Create, update, and optimize CATIA Business Processes (BPs) using EKL and other scripting languages.Collaborate with design engineers to identify repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions.Integrate CAD automation with PLM systems (e.g., 3 DEXPERIENCE) for seamless data flow.Ensure compliance with CAD standards and best practices across teams.Document automation tools, workflows, and user guides for internal stakeholders.Provide training and support to engineering teams on using automated tools and processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD automation and scripting.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , or a related field.15+ years of experience in CAD automation, preferably in CATIA V5/V6 and 3 DEXPERIENCE.Proficiency in EKL (Engineering Knowledge Language) and scripting languages such as VBScript, Python, or Java Script.Strong understanding of CAD data structures, parametric modeling, and design intent.Experience with CATIA templates, Power Copies, and Knowledgeware tools.Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD data management.( Windchill, Team Center)Preferred Skills:Experience with 3 DEXPERIENCE platform customization and automation.Knowledge of APIs for CATIA and 3 DEXPERIENCE.Exposure to Agile development practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
