Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement microservices-based applications using Java 8 and the Spring framework.
  • Develop efficient and high-quality code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  • Optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Integrate various ORM technologies (such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar) to facilitate data persistence and retrieval.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the applications through proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, both during development and in production environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8 features and functionalities.
  • Extensive experience with building microservices using Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar.
  • Proficiency in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is an advantage.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and meeting quality standards.
